I thought this was a really funny break down form Cracked.com, they show how one can use a guitar to fake talent. I think my favorite break down is the real musicians faking it. (: Check out this article and let me know what you think!!

These logos are the top 10 best logos from rock bands. “10 Best Old-School Rock Band Logos Ever.” I gotta agree, these are the classics, so classic that my mom, dad and friends can all easily identify them… Now thats a good logo. Artist certainly don’t have amazing logos like these today… It’s funny how much music has changed over the years… Oh, old school music, I miss thee. Do you agree with these? What would you have on the list?!

NFL Championships!

OK, so the NFL Championships aren’t really “music” or 100% appropriate for a music-related blog, but they always have such amazing artists sing the National Anthem. Today for the AFC Championship (Colts v. Jets) Jordan Sparks did an amazing job singing the National Anthem. I love seeing the award winning singers singing a song that we all grew up on. I’m exciting for February 7, I want to see my Colts against the Vikings in the Super Bowls… I also want to see all of the amazing commercials. I always think its funny that musicians always have some part in the commercials, I think Lady GaGa will have a few of her hits in commercials. I’m also excited for the half-time show… Something most people normally miss.

Point being… PAY ATTENTION to the music in the commercials! (: But most importantly… Fingers crossed that the Colts take down the Jets today! (:

Brett Favre… Pants on the ground?!

When this season of American Idol started I was in awe again about the people who auditioned. ‘Pants on the Ground’ became a quick hit, Fabebook and YouTube users loved it. But ‘Pants on the Ground’ making its way into the NFL, yes that’s right… Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Brett Favre brougt ‘Pants on the Ground’ to the Playoff locker room.

I’m not the biggest fan of American Idol (or reality T.V. in general) but I love that music, of any sort, has made its way to my favorite sport… Even if it is a song as silly as ‘Pants on the Ground’.

This video is worth checking out on YouTube, the video is embedded so I cannot post it on here, but you need to check it out. The 5-year-old, Jonah, covers the drums in System of a Down’s Toxicity. This kid is going to be a rock star at a very young age. Check out the YouTube video of Jonah here. If I had half that amount of talent when I was 5 I would be much better off today. So good!
