OK so when I first heard that The Fray would had something new to release I was listening to my lovely XM radio. (See that’s why I love it!!) I finally looked it up to see if they had released the MP3 online and guess where I found it?! Kanye West’s blog, I guess he approves of the job they did. Click this link to listen/ download Heartless by The Fray. I love it! I wish I would have looked it up as soon as I heard about it. Being lazy definitely doesn’t pay off!
On the 24 they also they also released their new single Never Say Never on their blog and on their MySpace.
Hope you guys enjoy both of those as much as I did. Don’t forget to ADD MY TEXT ALERTS or to leave me some comments. (:

I found this article on Billboard.com and I loved it. This is something that all artists should do to help out environment. (: John Legend Plans Eco-Friendly Summer Tour.
Kudos to John Legend for being environmentally friendly. (:

This is going to be more of a rant than a post about something really music related. (:
So, a few weeks ago I got a brand new car, and in that new car I got a free three month subscriptions to XM radio. I was so stoked when I finally realized that I had the XM radio and for the past two and a half weeks its all I have been listening to. But when I tell people how much I love it I get a ton of negative responses (most from people who have never had XM or Sirius.) I don’t know how you could not love XM radio, several music stations, no commercials, no 35 minutes of talking before I hear the next song, no weather updates… NOTHING!
The best part of having XM, I still get my AM and FM radio. So, when I don’t like anything on XM, I can go back. But what I love most about it is that on my early morning drives to school and work I don’t have to listen to people talk about things I don’t care to hear about, or do pranks on people, or any of that silly morning FM radio.
So for all you XM haters, if you have never tried it- try it, and if you hate it after thats fine. But I love it. I love non-stop songs, count downs that are actually songs I would listen to, and my favorite… the 90s music. (:
I guess the whole point of this was to say I love my XM, I love all that it offers, and if for some reason I don’t love it good ol’ AM and FM are still there.
Sorry for the rant. (:

I love Vegas but Vegas and Beyonce, now that would be fun. (: So who wants to go?
The tickets aren’t on sale as of yet, but I will try to keep you posted. Or hey, you could always buy me a ticket. (: I am really excited to see how her show relates to all the rock shows I have been to. I’m sure the sound engineer for her show has a much different job that one who does a rock show, just because of the different sound involved in her music.
I also wonder how tired she gets doing all that dancing, every time I see her video’s I get exhausted. Haha.
Have a great weekend all!!

Here is a great article from Music4Games about Guy Whitmore, keynote speaker for the Develop Conference & Expo being held in Brighton, England July 14-16.
Whitmore will address the problems facing the video game world.

Along with being a huge music fan I also have a soft spot in my heart for Comedy Central. I can’t help but love Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert when they do better reporting on issues than major news networks.
When I watched last weeks South Park episode I instantly thought that Kanye West would be overly offended by the statements made about him and his ego. His response, in his blog, was a lot better than I had imagined they would be.
“SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT’S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF “I TOLD YOU SO!!!” IT’S COOL TO TALK SH*T WHEN YOU’RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE’S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A B*TCH THIS TYPE OF SH*T WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I’M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I’M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I’M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I’M SURE THERE’S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS… THAT’S HOW YOU KNOW IT’S ME!”
Although West’s anger is evident in writing this (why else do you use all caps?) I think that he responded better than people, including myself, had expected. South Park is known for bashing people who are in the lime light, this time it was West’s turn. It’s always someone, that’s why its popular, people love the comical approach to news.
I think the moral of this story, and all things that involve Comedy Central, is to keep your cool. Not keeping your cool will only lead Comedy Central to further the humiliation.
My kudos to West and his blog post about the South Park episode. (:
On a side note, we’re in the works of getting a video post from the college campus, a tour perhaps, I hope to interview some students and faculty to give you a better picture of what Pinnacle College has to offer. Stay tuned.

DMB pays tribute to LeRoi Moore in its first album since 2005,“Big Wiskey and the Groogrux King.” Moore died last summer, after work on the album had already begun, from complications from injuries he suffered in an all-terrain-vehicle accident. Moore, a saxophonist, is considered one of the founding member of DMB.
Here, the members of DMB talking about the recording on the album and the death of LeRoi Moore:
DMB will begin its 2009 tour on the 14th at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
